AACSB accredits 17 new B-schools including firsts in Indonesia & Norway

Global MBA accreditation bodyAACSB International(AACSB) has accredited seventeen new academic institutions in countries like US, France, UK, South Korea, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia. With these new accreditations, there are 711 institutions across the world with AACSB accreditation. No new Indian B-school has been awarded the AACSB accreditation.

Universities as Gadjah Mada,Indonesia andBI Norwegian Business School,Norway are first B-schools in their country to have earned AACSB accreditation.

Other fifteen B-schools that have received AACBS accreditation includeBlack Hills State University(United States),Dominican University(United States), de Management de ormandie(France),ESSCA de Management(France),Frankfurt School of Finance and Management(Germany),Groupe ESC Dijon Bourgogne(France),National Yunlin University of Science and Technology(Chinese Taipei),Northumbria University(United Kingdom),Oklahoma City University(United States),Saint Xavier University(United States),SolBridge International School of Business(South Korea),Texas Wesleyan University(United States),University of Birmingham(United Kingdom),University of Edinburgh(United Kingdom)andWoodbury University(United States).

AACSB is pleased to congratulate the newly accredited institutions, said Robert D. Reid, executive vice president and chief accreditation officer of AACSB International. We commend each for their exemplary work, and are excited to add two more countries to the worldwide roster of AACSB-accredited business schools.

AACSB International, founded in 1916, is an association of more than 1,400 educational institutions, businesses, and other organizations in 88 countries and territories. AACSBs mission is to advance quality management education worldwide through accreditation, thought leadership, and value-added services.Achieving accreditationis a process of rigorous internal review, evaluation, and improvement, and can take multiple years to complete. During these years, the school develops and implements a plan to align withAACSB Accreditation standardswhich require a high quality teaching environment, innovative programming, and active engagement with industry.
