International School of Business and Media (ISB&M), Nande, Pune students organized a two day national level HR conference HR SHARE 2013 on the theme of Emerging New World: Rethinking HR in Pune on November 22 and 23. The objective of the conference was to bring together the HR communitys eminent thought leaders and industry stalwarts in a candid discussion on well researched contemporary HR issues. Mr. Marcel Parker, Director and chief mentor, IKYAQ Human Capital Solution Ltd was the chief guest of the conference.
The conference provided the opportunity to discuss the themes and topics which are aligned to various complexities that surround business environment. It also had several sub-themes like Myths of Talent- In a world of college dropouts; Workforce Diversity: Issues & Challenges; Performance & Rewards: How variable is variable pay; HR tech-Tools for Success; Passion, Drives & Performance: Engagement- The way forward; Role of HR in Grooming next generations leaders and others.
The conference format included presentations, panel discussions and Q&A sessions. HR professionals shared their insights and best practices in the context of their experience and challenges faced during their course of work and how they overcome these to enhance performance and deliver better business results in their organizations.
