IMT Ghaziabad organizes Concepto.exe to encourage entrepreneurship

The participating teams showcased their talent in the field of entrepreneurship

The students from the Entrepreneurship Cell of the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Ghaziabad, hosted Concepto.exe on July 22, 2009. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Anwar Ali, Director, IMT Ghaziabad, said, Concepto.exe is an effort and a platform for budding entrepreneurs to provide guidance, support and resources that will be required to start their venture and prepare them to step into the corporate world. Professor S.K. Singh, Chairman, Student Affairs and Dr. Mrinalini Shah were the judges for the event. The Entrepreneurship Cell of IMT Ghaziabad initiated the event due to increasing interest and inclination of students towards entrepreneurship. A total of five teams participated in the IMT Ghaziabad event and each team showcased their talent in the field of entrepreneurship. The teams were required to come up with a product or service which will have a commercial value and will generate profits in the long run. Each team was evaluated on various aspects like business concept, fund generation, marketing or promotion and execution, ROI and future strategy. Team Vinmaya representing PGDM-IB (2009-2011) class was declared winner by the panel of judges for the wide scope of services provided as also feasibility and profitability of the venture. Team Vinmaya (International Business batch) presented their business as provider gamut of services including laptop lamination, laptop vent management. Services were being provided on weekly and monthly charges. Sale of electronic items and seasonal items like friendship bands was also a part of the endeavor, a spokesperson from the business school said. Other teams that participated in the event were Team B2 Sporty (Marketing batch), Team Fin-Fiesta (Finance batch), Team Estetica learning services (Marketing batch) and Team e-No-Wait (Finance batch).
