National Conference by AIMA to be addressed by N R Narayana Murthy, Kamal Nath

A National Conference on Promoting Excellence in Government will be organized by All India Management Association (AIMA) on July 21 and 22, 2009, at New Delhi. The Chairman of the conference will be Mr. N R Narayana Murthy, Chairman and Chief Mentor, Infosys Technologies. Mr. Kamal Nath , Minister for Road Transport and Highways; Dr. Montek S. Ahluwalia, Deputy Chairman, Planning Commission and Mr. Praful Patel, Minister of State (Independent Charge), Ministry of Civil Aviation will be the key speakers of the conference.

The conference is aimed to discuss the key issues of the public and private domain such as systemic constraints, development of performance driven environment, transparency and accountability, role of young leaders in better development outcomes and learning from the best national and international practices in the good governances, said AIMA.

There are other eminent speakers for the conference. They are Ambassador Chuan-Leong Lam, Ambassador-at-Large, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Chairman of the Competition Commission of Singapore; Mr. N. R.
