Amity and Max New York Life in alliance to launches PG Diploma Insurance Sales Management

Amity Global Business School and Max New York Life have stuck an alliance to offer a one year PG Diploma program in Insurance Sales Management at its Noida, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Indore and Kolkata campuses. After the end of the program, Max New York Life assures placements at managerial level which is a subject to meeting minimum eligibility criteria. The selection will be through a process of career counseling, written test or CAT/GMAT scores and personal interview. The last date of application for the course is June 1, 2009.

The focal points of the program are conceptual learning, managerial and marketing needs. The 10 months program is divided into eight months formal classroom learning and one month of Academic Interface Program activities like attending workshops, seminars, leadership development programs etc. by the Max New York Life (MNYL) faculty. The classroom learning includes basic management principles, domain concepts in insurance and financial planning, soft skills, product knowledge and training. This is followed by a compulsory 45 days internship with a stipend of Rs. 5,000 in different MNYL offices. This program is for graduates and experienced professionals to launch their career at managerial level in Agency Distribution Channel of MNYL after successful completion of the program.

The eligibility criteria are Graduate with minimum 50 per cent aggregate and good communication skills, informs Amity. The selection will be on the basis of entrance test followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview. MNYL will be associated throughout in the process of selection.

All participants of the program will be provided a Letter of Intent (LOI) at the time of selection and considered for induction into Max New York Life Insurance Co. Ltd. The criteria for successful completion of the program also include participant performance during the formal classroom sessions as well as during the internship with MNYL. Upon meeting all the program requirements, MNYL will provide 100 per cent placement guarantee to successful participants.
