Said Business School to hold Business Forum to address health, environmental issues in India on Mar 25

The objective behind the seminar is to present a platform for global business leaders, academicians, policy-makers and industry specialists to debate the pertinent issues affecting environment and health sector in India.The Forum will be inaugurated by the welcome speech of Mr S Ramadorai, CEO and MD of Tata Consultancy Services Ltd. The seminar will be divided into two sessions: The first Session will address the sub theme The state of public health in India, challenges for strengthening the infrastructure of public health, vision for the future of public heath institutions.The Session will be moderated by Prof Colin Mayer, Dean of Sad Business School, University of Oxford. Other distinguished speakers invited to address the sub theme during the first Session include Prof Colin Mayer, Dean of Sad Business School, University of Oxford; Dr Jishnu Das, Senior Economist, World Bank; Professor Srinath Reddy, Chairman, Public Health Foundation India; and Dr Naresh Trehan, Chairman, Global Health Private Ltd.The second Session will address the sub theme The state of the environment in India, challenges for dealing with environmental degradation and water problems, vision for the future of Indias environment.The second Session will be moderated by Christopher Francis Patten, The Rt Hon the Lord Patten of Barnes, CH. Chancellor of Oxford University.
