The exam is likely to be conducted as an online exam starting September this year.The exam will be held for four times in a year and the exam pattern will also be same. The new thing is that student can take the exam during the period of one or two weeks according to their suitability rather than a particular day, added Cdr Bejoy.While sharing the objective behind this new initiative, Cdr Bejoy said, We are moving a step forward and offer MAT in other countries also. The objective of MAT is to assess the potential of a candidate to pursue a management programme. Towards that end, the exam tests the verbal ability, numerical ability and logical thinking of candidates. The paper is based on multiple-choice answers and designed to evaluate a students general aptitudes on five areas: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and awareness of Indian and Global Environment.
