CII and Judge Business School of University of Cambridge collaborate to offer programme in entrepreneurship

The Ignite Boot Camp, being delivered by Cambridge faculty, successful serial entrepreneurs and Indian innovators is a unique workshop. It brings in the experience of Cambridges journey to becoming Europes top technology cluster from being a small English town. It also brings in the experience of the Judge Business School in enabling Ignite participants to turning their ideas into successful commercial enterprises.

The Ignite Boot Camp in India will address the increasing necessity for enterprises to think differently and come out with radically different solutions, those that have never been thought before. The workshop will encourage organisations to develop a mindset to innovate and have incubators developing new products, constantly working to achieve new horizons.

CII believes that this one-day workshop will help open the minds of Indian entrepreneurs and intrapreneurs encouraging them to commercialise many more ideas. Indias eco system offers all elements that go to make innovation a success. What is required is the competence to access and leverage this eco system. The Ignite Boot Camp will skill Indian managers with just this competence.

Speaking about the workshop, which was attended by a group of young innovators from corporates as well as individuals, Mr. Jamshyd Godrej, Past President CII and Chairman, Godrej & Boyce Manufacturing Co. Ltd. said; It has been CIIs endeavor to encourage innovation and spread the spirit of enterprise in the country. The Ignite programme is aimed at encouraging youngsters to think like entrepreneurs and leverage the resources available in the eco system. We are happy to collaborate with the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge to bring this very significant programme to India.
