Q&A with Pavneet Singh:
How does it feel getting 100 percentile in CAT 09?
I am feeling very proud after getting these scores. It is really a very happy moment and a big achievement of my life. Yes, I was expecting these scores when I took CAT and yes I made it.
How did you prepare for CAT 09? What was your preparation strategy?
I started my CAT preparation one and half year back. I joined classroom program at PT Education. I put all my possible efforts during my CAT preparation. I took many Mock CATs which really helped me a lot. Mock CATs were very significant as they gave me feel of a real CAT. I made my basics strong and read the study material which I got from my coaching centre. I must add that the faculty members at my coaching centre were also very supportive. They helped me each and every time when I stepped down.
What do you think about the role of the coaching institutes for MBA test preparations?
In my case, coaching institute really helped me a lot. The coaching institutes help you in improving your weak areas. Their faculty members, study material and test series are very good for CAT preparation.
For the aspirants who will take CAT in future, what would be your advice to crack CAT? What is the success key?
I would like to say them to work very hard. At the end of the day, it is all your effort which works. CAT is not a difficult test, but yes it is aptitude test. I advice MBA aspirants to keep revising their basics as it is the most important thing.
