Great Lakes to hold conference on Entrepreneurship beyond Metros

The conference will focus on inspiring entrepreneurs to think beyond the metros to Tier 2 & Tier 3 cities.

According to Dr Bala V Balachandran, Founder & Dean, Great Lakes Institute of Management, Entrepreneurship is at the heart of economic growth of any nation, and India must also create and nurture entrepreneurs in large numbers in order to sustain the enviable growth it has been able to generate in the last decade, and to reach the global economic leadership status that it is expecting to achieve. In this endeavor the Business Schools have a significant role to play, by way of developing and disseminating the requisite knowledge, models, methods and processes, besides training and developing the entrepreneurs and Entrepreneur inside existing organizations.
