MICA looks out for new Director

MICA has issued advertisements in leading financial newspapers asking potential applicants to apply for the post. Recruitment firm Shilputsi has been hired to look out for the suitable candidates.

Stating the expectations from the applicants who will step into the shoes of current director Mr Atul Tandon, MICA says, The director is expected to lead MICAs path-breaking ascendancy at home and widen its global footprint. The director will handle key external relations, including government links, manage a high profile faculty and top quality students. This will cover responsibilities for curriculum, recruitment, evaluation of faculty, admission procedures as well as administration and finance, reporting directly to the board.

MICA states that the job demands candidate with a Master degree, preferably with a Ph.D, and at least 20 years professional experience, ideally in academia or handling academic administration, seven years in senior positions.
