He also added, The fact cant be ignored that within a short span of four years of establishment of this institute, whatever it has achieved ranging from its high ranking among various b-schools to its placements, the alumni has played a great role.
Dean (Academics), Dr. V. Gopal said, The Alumni meet provides an opportunity to the Institute to acknowledge the contributions and achievements of its alumni. He further added, It provides a stronger bonding and enhances the IMT leadership. Professor Ravi Gadgil too congratulated all the alumni and was glad to see his students adapting brilliantly to the professional world. Professor Rajiv Kamble (Chairperson for Placements, Corporate Communications, and Corporate Interactions) threw light on the reforms that have taken place in the functioning of the institute and was pleased by the results and students contribution.
Professor Ranjit Nambudiri also announced the plans to launch an Institute of Management Technology Nagpur, community website for its alumni which would be a medium to share the experiences and gain knowledge.
The alumni also shared their valuable experiences in the Achievers Arcade segment of the ceremony.
The current batch added flavor to the day with various cultural events.

Institute of Management Technology, Nagpur organized its first Alumni meet Melange on September 20th, 2008. On the occasion, IMT Nagpur launched a website for its alumni.
