BIMTECHs Centre for Retail to hold discussion on ICRIER report on Retail

The discussion on ICRIERs report Impact of Organised Retailing on the Unorganised Sector will be held on June 13, 2008 at New Delhi.

ICRIER has released much talked about report titled Impact of Organised Retailing on the Unorganised Sector which claims to be largest survey done in the retail sector to study the impact of unorganized retailers due to entry of large corporate in the retail business.

Mr Sitaram Yechury, M P & Member Palit Bureau, CRI (M); Mr Sompal, Vice Chairman, State Planning Board, Madhya Pradesh; Mr S Gurumurthi, Co-Governor, Swadeshi Jagran Manch & Well known columnist; Mr Sumant Sinha, CEO, Aditya Birla Retail; Mr Sunil Jain, Consulting Editor, Business Standard and Ms Nirupama Soundarajan, Co-author of ICRIER Report, ICRIER will be the speakers at the panel discussion.

The discussion will be chaired by Dr Jagdish Shettigar, Professor and Chairperson of Centre for Retail, BIMTECH.
