Arun Varma has two decades of senior general management and business development experience including last 11 years with NIIT. In his most recent roles as General Manager- Emerging Businesses and Head Marketing and Sales for NIIT Imperia.
At NIIT, he was involved in structuring and starting up two new businesses at NIIT: The Institute of Finance Banking and Insurance (IFBI) in partnership with ICICI Bank, and NIIT Imperia in alliance with IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta and IIM Indore.
Prior to this role, Varma held various management roles including NIIT Business Head for Asia Pacific, Business Head for Latin America & Caribbean and Dubai based Head of Alliances and Business Development for Middle East, Africa and Eastern Europe. A graduate from Delhi University and an alumnus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where he completed 1 year Senior Management Program.

Synergy is 100 strong and has 4,000 people on rolls as outsourced staff. The company is headquartered in Mumbai with multi-delivery offices in Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and New Delhi. Synergy is a part of Singapore based Quest ontheFRONTIER group that has subsidiaries in Hong Kong and UK. Quest is a leading regional consulting, recruitment and training company.

NIITs senior executive Arun Verma has joined staffing, recruitment & training company Synergy Relationship Management Services as Chief Executive Officer from June 1, 2008.
