Prof K K Aggrawal, Vice Chancellor, Guru Govind Singh Indraprashtha University, Delhi; Prof Prem Vat, Vice Chancellor, UP Technical University, Lucknow; Prof Vijay V Mandke, Research Leader, Center for Information Integrity Research, Pune Mr S Vinod, Business Analyst, Cognizant, Chennai and Prof T K Sabharwal, Management Consultant, Ghaziabad were some of the key speakers at the conference.
While delivering the Inaugural Address at the conference, Prof Aggrawal said, To become successful in this era of competition, it is important for the organizations to formulate right business strategies. The role of Business Strategy has only increased in this dynamic and IT driven business world.
Prof Prem Vat, Vice Chancellor, UP Technical University, Lucknow delivered the Keynote Address and said, Information Technology has brought a revolutionary change in the Information Management. He said, Many firms have proved that success in todays competitive world is dependent on how effectively does a company uses current knowledge.
Prof H P Gupta, Vice Chairman and Executive Director welcomed the speakers and guests. IME Director General Mr Satish Gupta spoke about the highlights of the institution and its growing research work. Dr D P Goyal, Director-IME, introduced the theme of the conference and its relevance.
The two day conference was divided into ten technical sessions.
The day 1 had technical sessions on the themes like: New Architecture of Competitive Dynamics; Enterprise Level IT Solutions; Competitive Dynamics in Banking and Finance; Data Mining and Information Systems; Knowledge Management and Human Resources Dynamics and Software Quality and Systems Development.
The day 2 had discussions on Corporate Survival Strategies; Information Infrastructure; Corporate Survival Strategies and Information Technologies.
IME was started in 1995 at Ghaziabad with full time PGDM programme, approved by AICTE, Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Institute also offers AICTE approved three year Part Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management and two year Full Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (Marketing).
