The MAT test paper in based on multiple-choice answers and designed to evaluate a students general aptitudes on five areas: Language Comprehension, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning and awareness of Indian and Global Environment.
The duration of the test is typically 150 minutes. There are total 200 questions fielded in MAT exam, where each question has four options. Each question in MAT caries one marks and there will be negative marking for wrong answers.
On the preparation keys for MAT, AIMA says, Although the MAT stresses on accuracy more than speed, it is important to use the allotted time wisely. Make every effort to pace yourself by making yourself familiar with the mechanics of the test.
There is a last minute rush from students keen on taking this last management test for this upcoming academic year. The last date for the sale of the MAT bulletin was April 15, 2008 and the last date for submitting the form is April 18, 2008. Graduates and final-year students from any discipline are eligible to take the MAT exam.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is going to conduct its Management Aptitude Test (MAT) on May 4, 2008. A total of 479 management institutes have registered with AIMA to select their candidate from these MAT results.
