University of Delhi ties up with U21Global

Delhi University, the largest Indian University, is the first Indian university to be part of U 21 Global network. Some of the other universities that are part of this consortium include National University of Singapore, McGill University and University of Melbourne.

Established in 1997, Universitas 21 is an international network of leading research-intensive universities that formed U21Global to provide quality online higher education in a global market place. The University of Delhis participation in the network brings the number of U21Global affiliate universities to 21 members.

We are delighted to welcome the University of Delhi and we look forward to the new opportunities for collaboration and learning which our Indian colleagues will bring, said Dr Helen Lange, Dean of Business Management Programmes, U21Global.

The graduate school is backed by an international network of 21 leading research-intensive universities in 13 countries. U21Global has successfully enrolled students from 60 countries around the world including those from Asia, Australia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.

The University of Delhi was established in 1922, and some of its colleges are even older. There are 78 colleges largely for undergraduate students and 84 departments mostly for postgraduate students, and the colleges, including those that are engaged in professional courses, are spread across the city.
