Winners thrive in the age of turbulence: Mr Kamal Nath

To comment on the current state and how to survive these times, who better than someone who is leading India on global forums like WTO Mr Kamal Nath. Delivering his presidential address at IMT Convocation on March 18, Minister of Commerce & Industry, Government of India, Mr Kamal Nath, spoke on these issues.

Said Mr Nath, World is undergoing tremendous transformation. India is an active participant in the global playing field. These changes bring both challenges and opportunities.
To survive and thrive, businesses will have to adjust and adapt to the changing times, said Mr Nath.

Mr Kamal Nath is also the President of Institute of Management Technology group of Institutions.

In his message to students, Mr Nath said, Innovation is the most powerful engine for economic growth weather it be the growth of a nation or that of a company. He added, Innovation and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. India is a country that is a treasure-house of innovation, and yet most of it has gone untapped in our formal management style. At IMT we aim to equip students with the best tools that the world has to offer, and demonstrate how, in using these tools, tapping into the native genius and local innovation must not be neglected.

Offering his advice to passing out students, Mr Nath said, You have new ideas. You must become leaders in true sense. You must not just achieve personal success, but also care for society and nation.
