has announced admissions for its two year Post Graduate Programme in Management - Business Entrepreneurship. According to EDI, using the experience of running successfully its ten batches of 1-year post graduate diploma in Business Entrepreneurship and Management, the course would now be offered as a two year PGDM-BE after the approval of All India Council of Technical Education.
The programmes is designed to develop skills in successful initiating, expanding, and diversifying a business enterprise in new, up-coming areas, including agriculture and service sectors. The PGDM-BE will give specialisation options in New Enterprise Creation, Family Business Management, Agri-Entrepreneurship and Services Management.
The programmes for the batch of 2008-10 will commence in July, 2008.
Graduates from any discipline can apply for the EDIs PGDM-BE. To get enrolled for programme, one should be appeared in the written test, to be held on May 04, 2008. The written test will held at 27 cities include Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhubaneshwar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune and others. The last date for submission of application forms is April 21, 2008.
Entrepreneurship Development Institute of India (EDI) was established in 1983 and was promoted by apex financial institutions - IDBI, IFCI Ltd., ICICI Ltd. and State Bank of India. EDI has helped set up fourteen state-level entrepreneurship development centres and institutes.
