In the first Regional Final on February 17, the city champions from Punjab and Haryana will compete in the Chandigarh leg. The Lucknow final will see the champs from rest of North India, while the Mumbai leg will be for all champs from the city itself. On February 21, the east zone champs will compete in the Kolkata Regional Final. The Delhi, Ahmedabad and Jaipur finals are scheduled for February 23. The last of the Regional Finals are scheduled for February 24 at Pune and Bangalore.
In the Regional Finals, the city champs will have to make micro presentations/ extempore on real-life tycoons, role play and then face off each other in the Jaago India Debate. 50 winners from the Regional Finals will move one step closer to being crowned the first Tycoon of India.
Earlier, over the last month in prevision two rounds, Tycoons 2008 saw participation from over 1.85 lakh contestants across 2000+ colleges in 100 cities.
