Come February 2, more than 10,000 contestants will participate in the City Finals. These finalists have made it through the grueling first round competing against more than 1.5 lakh contests, conducted across more than 100 cities nationwide.
Each of the rounds in the City Finals will involve elimination. There will be three rounds that will test the business awareness, aptitude and leadership potential of the candidate. The first round is a written business quiz comprising 100 questions to be answered in a span of 30 minutes.
12 contestants will qualify for the next Round the Oral Business Quiz. The hour long quiz will have questions on general business, identifying business luminaries, matching celebrities with the brands they endorse, questions on brands and their punch lines, a pick-a-chit section (questions on celebrity or an organization) and a buzzer round.
Five individuals will qualify for the third round Extempore. This will be a test of their structured thoughts; logical arguments and oratory skills. At the end of this round each city will have two City Champions who will qualify for the
upcoming Regional Finals, thereby getting one step closer to being crowned a Tycoon.
The final of the event will be held on February 18-20.
The winners will get a full paid scholarship to any higher education course in India, an edu-pilgrimage to a foreign university, a chance to meet the bigwigs of the industry from sports, business and cinema, cash prizes and more.
Tycoons is a Career Launcher and jaagoindia initiative. Indias leading management portal MBAUniverse.com is the Official Management Portal of this edutainment event. Stay tuned for more updates.
