NIIT adjudged Indias Most Customer Responsive Educational Institution

The Award instituted by Avaya GlobalConnect (AGC), a leading player in converged communication solution space, aims at honouring companies that have fared exceedingly well in their customer responsive policies and practices. The Award methodology has been designed by Professor M. Janakiraman of IIM, Lucknow. Avaya GlobalConnect, in partnership with The Economic Times, launched the Customer Responsiveness Award in 2005. This year, the awards were presented to 17 of the 160 participating organizations that have shown a commitment to Customer Responsiveness and measured high on a stringent evaluation procedure drawn by leading business intelligence and market research firms in the country.

Winners from the other 17 categories included Jet Airways (in airlines category), Mahindra Holidays & Resorts (Travel and Tourism), Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces (hotels), Acer (IT hardware), Infrasoft Technologies and Wipro (IT Software), Citigroup Global Services (BPO), Apollo Hospitals (Healthcare), NIIT (Educational Institutions), Maruti Suzuki (Automobiles), Kotak Securities (Financial Services), ICICI Bank (banking), ICICI Prudential (Insurance), ITC (Foods), LG Electronics (Consumer Durables), DHL Express (Logistics), Reliance Industries, Nagothane manufacturing division (Manufacturing) and RITES ( PSU).
