Consultancy Development Center & FMS Delhi to organize Consultancy Congress on January 15-16

The theme of the Congress is Outsourcing: Role of Consultants.
Talking about the objective of Congress, the organizers say, The Congress will provide a platform for interaction between the various stakeholders with the aim to achieve a better understanding of the issues involved in client-consultant relationship for achieving organizational objectives of world class productivity through outsourcing of engineering and management services to consultants and experts.

The Congress will host key-note speeches by eminent personalities, technical sessions, research-study presentations and a panel discussion. The major topics are Outsourcing: Need assessment; Outsourcing: Design issues; Outsourcing: Impact assessment; Public-Private partnership - role of consultants.

The congress features eminent speaker and industry leaders including Mr. Thomas Kuruvilla, MD (Middle East), Arthur D. Little; Mr. Mahbub Haque, President TCDPAP & President, Bangladesh Association of Consulting Engineers; Padma Bhushan Prof. P.V. Indiresan, Former Director, IIT Chennai; Mr. Mukesh Rohatgi, CMD, Engineers India Limited; Dr. A.K. Balyan, Director (HR), Oil & Natural Gas Corporation Ltd; Mr. N.S. Rajan, Partner, Ernst & Young Pvt. Ltd; Mr. Manoj Kohli, President, Airtel; Mr. Arsh Maini, Director, Deloitte & Touche Consulting India Pvt. Ltd. and Dr. G. Narendra Kumar, Secretary, Technical Education, Government of NCT Delhi.

The congress will be hosted at Stein Auditorium, India Habitat Centre, in New Delhi.
Consultancy Development Centre (CDC) is an autonomous institution of the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR), Ministry of Science & Technology, Government of India set up for promotion, development and strengthening of consultancy skills and capabilities in the country including enhancement of export of consultancy services. CDC has been organising the Consultancy Congress as an annual event.
