XLRI to hold its Annual Management Festival Ensemble 08 on January 25-26, 2008

focused on the theme Advantage India - The bird of gold spreads its wings. The fest will be held from January 25-26, 2008.

This fest will hold an Idea Summit, where speakers coming from myriad backgrounds will share their vision and experiences from their life; and also share their expectations with the generation next.

The fest will also hold various inter B-school competitions. Some of these competitions will include War of Wits; El Dorado Quiz Competition; Quest Adventura Game; Samarpan, the social crusade; Xplore, the puzzle contest; Pratyancha, the social diffusion strategy competition; Prometheus Quiz Competitions and more.

According to XLRI, Quest Adventura Game tests participants on a variety of parameters including general awareness, analytical skills, endurance, team spirit and strategy building. The game is spread over two days and includes activities such as Obstacles, Improvised Rafting, Wall Climbing, Puzzles, Treasure Hunt, etc.

War of Wits is an HR event, which will test the participants on their knowledge of HR, planning, decision making, and negotiation skills in a dynamic environment. According to XLRI, War of Wits is a stimulating assortment of challenging situations bound together by the constraints of time, money and most importantly human resource. The winner will get the prize money of Rs. 80,000.

Besides, Samarpan the social crusade will bring forth the best and sustainable plan by participants that would reach out to the masses, especially the underprivileged and the destitute sections of society.
