Central India Management Conclave to focus on SME sector

Central Institute of Business Management Research & Development (CIBMRD) is organizing its Central India Management Conclave 08 to highlight the Winning Strategies for SME sector. The conclave will be held on January 24 & 25 08 at Nagpur. It will be focused on the theme Winning Strategies for Small & Medium Enterprises.

CIBMRD is organizing the conclave in association with Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI), Nagpur; M I D C Industries Association (MIA), Nagpur and MSME Development Institute (Ministry of Industries, Govt. of India). The conclave will be co-hosted by National Academy of Defense Production (Ministry of Defence, Govt. of India).

According to CIBMRD, Indian SME sector has a long way to go ahead and compete with their global counterparts. The Conclave has been convened to purposefully deliberate upon the Winning Strategies for Small and Medium Enterprises and benchmark SMEs performance, productivity and competitiveness concerns.

The conclave will hold discussions on the various issues surrounding the central theme which will include issues like Creating Entrepreneurial Culture in India, Business Development Strategies for SMEs, Branding and Value Creation in SMEs, Enhancing Productivity & Competitiveness in SME Employees, Funding Strategies for SMEs, Value additions through Technology and Indian SMEs in Global Market.

To discuss these issues CIBMRD has invited research papers, articles and organization based case studies. According to CIBMRD, The Conclave is expected to host more than 500 people.
