Announcing the initiative, Ashok Soota, Chairman of CII Mission on Knowledge and Skills and CMD of Mindtree Consulting said, India can be the knowledge superpower. Knowledge Summit is meant to create the ecosystem and linkages that can make it possible.
The three day event will discuss the practical challenges that are faced and solutions that can be applied in knowledge-centric initiatives. Eminent industry leaders and academicians like Dr. T. Ramasami, Secretary, Ministry of Science and Technology, Mr Sunil Mittal, President CII, Mr. Ashok Soota, CMD, Mindtree Consulting, Mr.Dave Snowden, Founder and Chief Scientific Officer, Cognitive Edge, Rory Chase, MD Teleos and Mr. Ganesh Natarajan, Chairman, Zensar will speak on occasion.
Mr Kapil Sibal, Minister of State for Science & Technology and Ocean Development will present the MAKE awards on 14th November.
The summit will consist of several sessions, with keynotes, panel discussions on various topics like Building Innovation Ecosystem, Emerging Technology Trends to Harness Knowledge and Content Management Practices. The summit will also hold Masterclasses by world renowned KM practitioners.

Confederation of Indian Industry has announced plans to hold the second edition of knowledge summit titled KM India: the Knowledge Summit. The summit will be held on November 14-16 in New Delhi.
