Final Placement 08: IIM-C set to create crorepatis

Many Associate level jobs are pouring in for IIM-C would-be managers. According to information shared by IIM-C with MBAUniverse.com, so far five students have got the coveted associate level offers. In comparison, last year only 4 students managed to bag these offers, and the placement week is several months away. IIM-C informs that these profiles typically attract salaries hitting the magical rupees one crore mark.

Says an IIM-C spokesperson, This year already 5 students have been offered the roles of associates with more expected to come in. This role usually commands packages in the range of a crore.

And thats not all. One of the IIM-C students has also been offered a position by financial giant UBS at its London desk. According to IIM-C, this is the only recruitment from any Indian B -Schools of this nature.

IIM-C believes that these developments underscore strong finance focused positioning of the institution. Says IIM-C, These developments reinforce our position Think Finance, Think IIM-C.

Alongside these high profile offers, various pre-placement offers (PPOs) continue to pour in. While not sharing exact numbers, IIM-C reports that already a lot of offers from many areas --- from Investment Banking, Consulting, Marketing and IT -- are pouring in.
