Pfizer MD Kewal Handa is new AIMA President

He took over charge from Mr Subir Raha, who had also served as the Chairman and Managing Director of ONGC.

Noted adman Mr Srinivasan K Swamy, Chairman & Managing Director of R K Swamy BBDO is the new Senior Vice President. Mr Sanjiv Goenka, Vice Chairman, RPG Enterprises has been chosen as the new Vice President.
Mr Kewal Handa is the Managing Director and Country Manager for Pfizer Limited since April 2005. He has been with Pfizer for 15 years having earlier served as their Chief Financial Officer. As Chairman of the Pricing Committee of the Organisation of Pharmaceutical Producers of India (OPPI), he has been at the forefront of the industrys efforts to resolve issues pertaining to the pharmaceutical sector.

In addition he is also a Committee Member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), the Bombay Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI), and the Bombay Management Association (BMA). Mr Handa holds a Masters Degree in Commerce from Sydenham College, Mumbai. He is also a qualified Management Accountant and a Company Secretary.

The All India Management Association (AIMA) is the apex body of professional management, and was created with active support of the Government of India and Industry in 1957. AIMA has established close linkages with over 3000 institutions and over 30,000 individual professionals directly and through network of the Local Management Associations.
