Ever since morning of August 16, the last day for getting the CAT 2007 Bulletin, serpentine queues greeted those who left this chore for the very last. Outside bank branches, CAT aspirants had to wait for several hours to finally lay their hands on CAT Bulletin. MBAUniverse.com reports from the scene.
Outside Axis Bank (earlier UTI Bank) in the heart of the Capital, when MBAUniverse.com visited the venue this afternoon, aspirants formed a serpentine queue that spilled much outside the Bank premises. Umbrellas, sunshades, and Pepsi were the only saviors from the heat and sweat for Delhi streets. But aspirants, filled with dreams of getting into prestigious B-schools didnt mind facing the odds.
Said Aarti Sharma, a Delhi University students, I wish I had not left this important task for the last. I would rather be going thru my CAT preparation material than stand here in this heat!
Students were also worried that many banksnot have enough Bulletins to meet the demand. Some of them told MBAUniverse.com that many branches in the city have no stocks left. A message from IIMs, posted outside the bank premises, informed students that incase of emergency aspirants can get the Bulletin directly from any of the six IIMs till August 20.
