NMIMS announces NMAT on December 30

The exam will be held on Sunday, December 30 2007.

This year the test will be conducted in 21 centers across the country. The test paper is designed on multiple-choice answers format that include Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, General Awareness, Logical Reasoning, Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation. Students have to solve a total of 200 questions within 150 minutes.

According to NMIMS, graduates of any branch of study or equivalent pattern recognized by the UGC & AIU with minimum 50% marks are eligible for the test. Work experience will be preferred.

Students will get admission if they meet the required standards of a two-stage selection. According to NMIMS, all eligible candidates are required to appear for NMAT to be conducted at all centres across the country. Shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion/ computer-based test /Presentation & Personal Interview at selected centers.

Students can get their application forms from NMIMS for Rs 1,500 which will be issued between September 17, 2007 November 29, 2007.

The regular classes for NMIMS MBA programs will start from July 7, 2008.

NMIMS was established in 1981 by Mumbai University. The Institute offers Post Graduate Programs including MBA (Retail Management), MBA(Pharmaceuticals Management), MBA (Services Management), MBA (Global Business), MBA (Actuarial Science), MBA (Capital Markets) and PGDM (Family Business).
