CAT Result 2025 Release Date: When will IIM Kozhikode declare CAT 2025 Results? Check Expected Date, Past Five Year’s Trends; Scorecard Download Link

CAT Result Release Date is December 19, 2025 (Expected). This expected date is based on past trends and recent updates on CAT exam. CAT 2025 exam was held on November 30, 2025 and Answer Key was released on December 4, 2025. CAT 2025 Objection Management Window dates were from December 8 till 10, 2025 and is now closed. IIMs will take a few days to release final answer keys. Soon after, CAT 2025 Results will be released.  

In the last few years, the CAT result has usually been announced within 15-16 days from the release of the CAT answer key. Since this year, the CAT 2025 answer key was released on December 4, and if IIM Kozhikode follows the previous CAT result date trends, then we can expect CAT 2025 result date to be December 19 (Friday), which is 15-16 days from the CAT 2025 answer key release date.

If CAT 2025 result release is delayed by a few days, then it should get released on December 22, 2025 (Monday). It should be noted here that while the official CAT 2025 Notification mentions that CAT results will be released in January 2026, but based on past year’s trends, CAT results will be released 20-25 days of CAT 2025 exam date (Nov 30, 2025). Over the last three years, CAT results have typically been released within 23–25 days of the exam. However, during CAT 2020 and CAT 2021, due to Covid-19 impact, timelines got extended to early January. Check exact dates of CAT result announcement in past five years below:

CAT exam objection filing is a process where candidates who have taken the exam can “challenge” potential errors in provisional answer key on the official iimcat.ac.in website during a specific window. They have to pay objection fee per question. 

After the provisional answer key's objection window was closed on December 10, 2025, CAT Final Answer Key for 2025 is expected to be release soon. Currently IIM Kozhikode and experts from top 7 IIMs are reviewing challenges filed by CAT aspirants and some coaching institutes. After careful review, IIMK will release the final key on the official iimcat.ac.in website. There may be one or two changes in the final answer key.  

How to Access the Final Answer Key (Once Released)

1. Visit the CAT Official Site (iimcat.ac.in).
2. Click 'Candidate Login' and enter your CAT User ID and Password.
3. Navigate to 'Answer Key' section on your dashboard.
4. Download CAT final answer key PDF and compare with provisional key. 

After the final answer key is out, IIMs will process the results and release it for 2.58 lakh candidates.

1. Visit CAT Official Website: Open your web browser and go to the official CAT website: iimcat.ac.in.

2. Log in your Account: Click on the "CAT Login" or "Registered Candidate Login" button. Use your CAT ID and password to log in.

3. Navigate to CAT Scorecard: Once logged in, check CAT Scorecard tab or link in your dashboard and click on it.

4. Download the Scorecard: Click the option to download your scorecard, which will be available in a PDF format.

CAT 2025 Score card by means of SMS on your mobile phone will also be sent by IIMs after CAT Result declaration. The glimpse of your score card contains your sectional and overall score & percentile. To check your CAT result on Mobile, take following steps

• Open the CAT browser on the Mobile phone
• Type in the website name iimcat.ac.in
• Click on 'CAT 2025 scorecard'
• Enter your Registration ID and password
• Tap to Open and check your CAT Result

Following are the important CAT result related instructions issued by IIMs for the benefit of CAT exam takers regarding the CAT 2025 score card download:

• Only candidates who have taken the Common Admission Test (CAT) 2025 are entitled to receive the score card. The print-out of the score card is for your information pertaining to CAT 2025. You will not receive score card by email or by post.
• The Scaled Scores of Section-1 (Verbal Ability & reading Comprehension); Section-2 (Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning) and Section-3 (Quantitative Ability) are not additive. The Overall Scaled Scores is based on the total raw scores earned by the candidate.
• Percentile refers to percentage of candidates who receive score less than or equal to the score obtained by the candidate.
• IIMs and Non-IIM member institutions independently decide how to use CAT 2025 scores on the basis of their own selection process. The scores are to be used only for selecting the candidates to their Post Graduate / Fellow Programme(s) in Management.
• All queries regarding post-CAT 2025 selection process must be directed to respective IIMs. CAT Centre will not answer post-CAT related queries.
• CAT 2025 score is valid until 31st December 2026 and is subject to meeting the minimum eligibility marks in the qualifying examination.

Immediately after CAT results are announced and you have downloaded it, you should take following steps:

• Shortlist some of the top B-schools and Apply (If the application is open)
• Check IIMs shortlist. Top 3-4 IIMs like IIM Calcutta, IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore, IIM Kozhikode, IIM Lucknow announce the shortlist of candidates for final selection process very early
