TCS and Accenture win Delhi round of Tata Crucible Business Quiz 2007

TCS team won the Tata-track, while Accenture team won the non-Tata track. The quiz was held at the Seminar Hall of IIT, Delhi on August 18, 2007.

NTPC emerged as the runners up, while the other teams in the final were HT Media, Kotak Bank, E-enabled Technologies & ICRA. Dr. Naresh Malhan, President-Consumer Business, Tata Teleservices was the Chief Guest for the event and distributed the prizes to the winning team.

Having achieved the first milestone, TCS team and Accenture team will now battle it out with eleven other teams at the National Finals of Tata Crucible the Business Quiz 2007 towards the end of September in Mumbai.
This years quiz features a new Pyramid quizzing format. This format proved to be a challenging approach towards judging the knowledge, capability, promptness and skills of the contestants. Famous Quizmaster Mr. Giri Balasubramaniam a.k.a Pickbrain engaged the teams with his interactive style of quizzing.

Now in its fourth year, Tata Crucible Quiz 2007 commenced its first regional round at Chennai on August 11, 2007 followed with Hyderabad regional round. The quiz will now travel to nine other major Indian cities namely Chandigarh (August 19); Cochin (August 22); Kolkata (August 26); Bhubaneshwar (August 27); Bangalore (September 1); Pune (September 2); Indore (September 3); Ahmedabad (September 5) and Mumbai (September 9) culminating into the National finals in Mumbai.

The Tata Crucible Quiz is a team based contest (2 participants per team) and is held in 3 parts. Two back-to-back tracks - separately for Tata Corporates and Non-Tata Corporates, consisting of Regional Rounds followed by National Finals. The third track is held for Campus students in January/ February each year.
