IIM A and ESSEC to collaborate on an Executive Development Program

It wil be held at the ESSEC Asian Center of Singapore.The program aims to enable high-potential executives to work successfully with Asian collaborators, customers/suppliers and enhance their competencies. It is specially designed for high potential top and senior executives actively involved in formulation and implementation of strategies for Asia.

According to IIM-A, Harnessing the business potential of Asia for high potential top and senior executives operating in or intending to operate in Asia, it will provide knowledge, aptitude, and attitudes that are appropriate for the Asian environment. Its special focus would be on India, China, and South East Asia The program will strengthen leadership and management competencies, expand horizons ofknowledge in the Asian business context and provide a platform for sharing cross-cultural managerial experiences. Along with this, it will help to enhance self-awareness.

There will be 17 days training spread over three phases.
For this program, participants need at least eight years of professional experience. IIM A says, Lectures are given in a dynamic and interactive way in order to cross-learn with professors and participants, through case analysis, group exercises, presentations, discussions in classroom, meetings with local actors, readings, experience sharing and a final integrated exercise.

The program will be delivered by inter-institute and inter-functional faculty teams with comprehensive experience in teaching, research and consulting in diverse areas of management.
