AIMA to organize National Marketing Summit -- for marketers to focus on the consumer

The summit will be held on 20th and 21st April at Hotel Taj President in Mumbai. Eminent speakers who will grace the occasion include Mr. Ajay Bharadwaj, Country Head, Canon; Mr. Ajay Bijli, CEO, SIDBI; Mr. Ajay Madan, president-business development, ESSAR; Mr. Alok Sharma, MD, Apple; Mr. Ratan Jalan, CEO, Apollo Hospitals; Mr. Ramesh G Iyer, MD, Mahindra among others.

According to AIMA, The summit unveils the unfound layers of the telecom, automobile, financial services, healthcare, retail and entertainment Sectors. It also aims to empower the market visionaries to look beyond the boardrooms and the board meetings and give them a canvas to paint their own pictures.

Why such a theme? Because, an organization needs to identify emerging trends and capitalize on important ones. Long-term benefits can be gained from identifying trends that may impact the business.

This is the summit sessions line-up: Telecom: Making the Consumer Play Your Tune, Automobile: Taking the Consumer Along for a Ride, Financial Services: Helping the Consumers Save, To Spend More, Healthcare: Kneel to create a Business that Heals, Retail: Business of Detail with the Long Tail and Entertainment: Creating World Class Experience to build a Classless Consumer.

The summit is targeted for middle to senior level managers who are engaged in marketing, corporate affairs, and corporate communications, and also brand managers and sales managers.
