Professor Nichols holds the co-chair position of the Law Group of United Nations Centre for Trade Facilitation and Electronic Business (UN/CEFACT), and serves as co-chair of the International Economic Law Group of the American Society of International Law. Professor Nichols research focuses on the institutions of international trade - primarily the World Trade Organization and on the institutional changes occurring in emerging economies. He has also conducted substantial research on corruption.
