IMT ties up with University of Wisconsin-La Crosses B-school; is keen to establish more international linkages

Recently, IMT signed a MoU with the US-based University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Speaking to MBAUnivese.com, Prof. Pankaj Gupta, chairman, international relations, IMT said, Currently, IMT has tie-ups with 11 institutes. We have just tied up with University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. There are many international institutes, which are showing an interest in IMT. In the coming days, we are looking for tie-ups with at least 20 more international business schools. For this, he adds, IMT director Dr. B.S Sahay will be visiting leading international B-schools in the coming days for seeking academic collaboration.

The tie-ups should lead to faculty exchange, students exchange and exchange of research programs. In addition, the tie-ups will enrich the educational development of both the universities and provides both societies with more and better information about the respective countries.

IMT has partnerships with the University of Florida, Gainesville, US; Chonnam National University, South Korea; Grenoble Ecole de Management, France; IESEG School of Management, France; University of Nebraska, Omaha, US; Negocia Business School, France; University of Newcastle, Australia; Reims Management School, France; and HEC Montreal, Canada.

IMT director Dr. B S Sahay says, Exchange programs with leading business schools around the world help students to assimilate management practices and understand the importance of cross-cultural issues in managing the business, trade and industry.
