CMAT registration process is given below. Candidate should keep the following documents ready before starting to fill CMAT 2027 Application Form:
1. Technical Requirements:
- A computer with proper internet connectivity
2. Personal Identification Details:
- The particulars of a valid Government ID proof

5. Application Preferences:

CMAT New Registration Start Page
Step 1: Start New Registration
To start your CMAT application process, you must first register yourself online. Follow these steps to apply for your online registration.
- Visit CMAT official website cmat.nta.nic.in. CMAT Registration 2027 link is given on this page. Click on the ‘Registration for CMAT-2027’ link. CMAT exam registration page will open.
- On this page, you will see option ‘Register Yourself for the above mentioned exam’. Click on the ‘New Registration’ button. CMAT application form registration page will open.
- Read CMAT exam instructions on this page and click CMAT exam undertaking that says “I have downloaded the Information Bulletin of Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2027, read and understood all the Instructions therein as well as those mentioned above, and will fill up the online Application Form for the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2027 accordingly.”
- CMAT personal details forms will open. Fill your personal details like Name, Date of Birth, Gender, Address and submit it.
- You also have to create your CMAT login Password and security question that you will use to login to your CMAT account to fill complete form and download CMAT admit card.
After successfully submitting your details, you will receive an OTP via SMS on your registered mobile number. After submitting OTP you will receive a Registration Verification message, as below.

Step 2: Fill CMAT Application Form Online
After you have successfully registered in step 1 above, you need to login into your account by submitting following details:
- Application No./Email ID
- Password
- Security PIN

After login, you will be asked to submit some more details such as:
- Your choice of CMAT Exam centres
- Your educational qualifications
- Your Photograph (check guidelines in a separate section below)
- Your Signature (check guidelines in a separate section below)

Step 3: Pay Fee Online
After successfully completing step 1 and 2, pay CMAT Registration & Application fee online through Debit/Credit Card/Net Banking/e-Challan. CMAT 2027 Registration Fee includes the CMAT Application Fee and CMAT Exam fee. After completing the payment, you will receive a confirmation on CMAT site as well as in your email box.

Step 4: Download Confirmation Page
After making successful payment of CMAT registration and exam fee, you can download and print the Confirmation Page. This is a proof that your CMAT exam registration is complete.
During online form filling, the candidate will be required to choose PASSWORD and Security Question and its Answer. The candidate is advised to record/remember their password for all future logins. For subsequent logins, the candidate will be able to login directly with their respective system-generated Application Number and the chosen Password. The candidate is advised not to disclose or share their password with anybody. Neither NTA nor NIC will be responsible for the violation or misuse of the password of a candidate. Candidates can change his/her passwords after login if desired. Candidates should remember to log out at the end of their session so that the particulars of the candidate cannot be tampered with or modified by unauthorized persons.
The Password must be as per the following Password policy.
- Password must be 8 to 13 characters long.
- Password must have at least one Upper case alphabet.
- Password must have at least one Lower case alphabet.
- Password must have at least one numeric value.
- Password must have at least one special character for example: !@#$%^&*-
How to reset CMAT Password
The following options are available to reset Password
- Using Security Question and its Answer you have chosen during Form filling.
- Using a verification code sent via text message (SMS) to your Registered Mobile No.
- Using a reset link sent via Email to your Registered Email address.
After successfully completing CMAT 2027 registration, candidates can login to their CMAT account anytime to continue filling the application form, pay fees, edit allowed details during the correction window, or download the admit card. CMAT login is available only on the official NTA CMAT 2027 portal cmat.nta.nic.in.
Steps to Login to CMAT 2027 Account
- Visit the official CMAT 2027 website cmat.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the "Login" link on the home page.
- Enter your CMAT Application Number (system-generated during registration) or registered Email ID.
- Enter your Password (created during registration).
- Enter the Security PIN / Captcha displayed on the screen.
- Click "Submit" to access your CMAT 2027 candidate dashboard.
What Can You Do After Logging In to CMAT 2027 Account? From the CMAT 2027 candidate dashboard, candidates can:
- Complete the remaining steps of the Application Form
- Upload or re-upload photograph and signature (within allowed window)
- Pay CMAT 2027 examination fee
- Download Confirmation Page after successful fee payment

NTA has issued following CMAT guidelines for candidates regarding uploading correct photograph and signature:
- Photograph should not be with cap or goggles. Photograph should cover 80% face (without mask) visible including ears against white background.
- Spectacles are allowed if being used regularly.
- Polaroid and Computer-generated photos are not acceptable.
- Applications not complying with these instructions or with unclear photographs are liable to be rejected.
- Application without photograph shall be rejected.
- The photograph need not be attested.
- Candidates are advised to keep at least one additional passport-size photograph (same as uploaded) for pasting on the Attendance Sheet at the CMAT examination centre.
- Passport size photograph is to be used for uploading on Online Application Form and also for pasting on Attendance Sheet at the Examination centre.
- The candidate should scan his/her passport size photograph for uploading. File size must be between 10 kb to 200 kb.
- The candidate should put his full signature on white paper with Blue/Black Ink pen and scan for uploading. File size must be between 04 kb to 30 kb.
CMAT 2027 application fee is expected to be category-wise and gender-wise, in line with the official CMAT 2026 fee structure released by NTA. CMAT 2027 exam fees can be paid online only through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI on the official website cmat.nta.nic.in. - The candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
- Candidates appearing for the final year of Bachelor's Degree, whose result will be declared before commencement of admission for academic year 2027-28, can also apply for CMAT 2027.

- Flexibility in Filling: You can complete the entire registration and application at once or in separate sessions. Take your time and review all details after some time and only then press submit button.
- Agree to Declaration: You must confirm the accuracy of your information by clicking 'I Agree' before final submission.
- Fee Payment Confirmation is Key: Your application is only considered successful upon receipt of the application fee. Check for the confirmation message from NTA.
While you must fill form very carefully, in case you have made a mistake, NTA allows you to make some changes after the last date of registration. The CMAT 2027 correction window allows candidates to edit specific fields like photograph, signature, and exam city preferences. Core personal details such as Name, Date of Birth, and Category cannot be modified after submission, as per NTA's general policy.
