Generic : Is the CAT Official Mock Test pattern the same as the actual CAT exam?

Not necessarily. IIMs explicitly state that the official mock test is not a disclosure of the actual CAT exam pattern. The number, type, and sequence of questions in the mock test are indicative only and subject to change. Candidates should use the mock test to get familiar with the interface, and not to predict the exact exam format.
