Generic : What is the work experience requirement for CAT 2026?

Work experience is not mandatory for CAT 2026. Both fresh graduates and working professionals can apply for CAT exam. However, many IIMs give weightage to work experience in their final MBA admission shortlisting and interview process. Most IIMs award weightage for 12–36 months of full-time post-graduation experience, though it is not required to appear for CAT.
