Q: What is IIMA admission process? Can I get into MBA program without CAT?

A: IIM Ahmedabad Admission is based on CAT exam score, GMAT and GRE Score. IIM Ahmedabad application process opens in August with the start of CAT registration process. IIM Ahmedabad admission last date will close with closing date for CAT registration in September. A Candidate must hold a bachelor's degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent with a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. A candidate appearing for the final year bachelor's degree can also apply. The candidate should appear in CAT exam and must score minimum prescribed overall and sectional score in the entrance exam. IIM Ahmedabad shortlists the candidates as per its shortlisting parameters and weightages including CAT score, Academics, work experience among others. After the shortlisting, IIM Ahmedabad conducts WAT and Personal Interview.
