Why do IIM fees differ so much between institutes?

Three reasons. Older IIMs carry higher faculty costs and larger campus infrastructure. What the fee covers varies — some include medical insurance, case royalties and study material, others charge these separately. And fee years differ, so a 2024-26 figure sitting next to a 2026-28 figure understates the older one by two rounds of increases.
