Launched in 2001 in Hyderabad, Indian School of Business (ISB) is a private Business school established with the corporate partnerships. Presently ISB has campuses at Hyderabad and Mohali. ISB has academic alliances with some of the top B-schools in the world including the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University, The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania, London Business School (LBS), and The Fletcher School of Law & Diplomacy at Tufts University.

ISB is a highly ranked business school in India. Worldwide, the Financial Times has ranked ISB No. 39 in its Global MBA Ranking 2023; ranked 7th globally (No.1 in India) in the Forbes Best Business Schools 2019 rankings; ranked 44th Globally in the Economist Global MBA rankings, Poets and Quants ranks ISB as the 17th best business school outside the US;ranked 5th in the Asia Pacific region by Bloomberg Businessweek’s global rankings for best business schools. ISB became the 100th Triple Accredited business school in the world getting accredited by AMBA, EQUIS and AACSB.

ISB offers management programmes for executives and does not offer degree or diploma programmes for freshers. The flagship Post Graduate Programme (PGP) offered by ISB is of one year duration and working professionals with minimum 2 years work experience can apply for ISB PGP. The PGP at ISB is globally MBA equivalent, full-time, residential programme with International Exchange facility. Apart from this, ISB offers various executive management programmes.  For admission to its PGP programme ISB accepts GMAT and GRE exam score.

ISB has a consistent record of high placements. In placement 2023, ISB has registered Average salary of Rs.33.26 LPA and Median salary of Rs.32 LPA. A total of 324 companies registered for campus placements 2023 and made 1609 offers in leadership roles. 31 international offers were generated for the class across diverse regions — South-East Asia, Middle East, Africa, Europe, and USA. Some of the top recruiters include AB InBev, Accenture, Adani Enterprises, Aditya Birla, Amazon, Bain & Company, Barclays, Bharti Airtel, BCG, Cognizant, Credit Suisse, Delhivery, Deloitte, EXL, EY, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, Fulltron, Godrej, HCL Technologies, HUL, HDFC Bank, Infosys, ITC, KPMG, McKinsey & Company, Nomura, Pfizer, Philips, PwC, RIL, Siemens Ltd., Schneider Electric, Tata Digital, Virtusa, Walmart, Wipro, ZS Associates and hundreds of other marquee companies.

The self-sustaining ISB campuses in Hyderabad and Mohali span 240 and 70 acres, respectively. The buildings on both campuses are planned and constructed to meet LEED Gold (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) sustainability standards. Additionally, the campuses have been rated as IGBC Platinum Rated for Operations.
