1. What is AACSB International? 

AACSB full Form is Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. AACSB was founded as the American Assembly of Collegiate Schools of Business in 1916 to provide accreditation to business schools. AACSB accreditation helps business schools hold themselves accountable for improving business practice through a commitment to strategic management, learner success, thought leadership, and societal impact.

The current standards were adopted by the AACSB Accreditation Council in July 2020.

IIM Shillong, LBSIM Delhi and Great Lakes Gurgaon have joined the elite list of 30 AACSB Accredited B-schools in India. AACSB Accreditation MBA Colleges in India in 2026 also include IIMs, ISB, XLRI, MDI and SPJIMR. Founded in 1916, AACSB is the longest-serving and most prestigious global accrediting body for business schools and accredits B-schools that demonstrate quality in teaching, research, curriculum development, and student learning.
