IIM Lucknow Admission Criteria for 2011-13

IIM Lucknow offers two MBA programs, which are Post Graduate Program (PGP) and Post Graduate Program Agri Business Management (PGP-ABM). The parameters on the basis of which the admission for year 2011 will take place are CAT 2010 scores, GD, PI, written ability test and past academic performance and prior work experience.
There are two stages of selection. In the Stage I, all candidates who will score minimum section wise and aggregate percentile score in CAT are first short listed. In order to call the PGP and PGP-ABM candidates for GD PI and Written Ability Test, the past academic performance of secondary, higher secondary and graduate program and experience profile of the candidates are considered.
For a general category candidate, the overall cut off for CAT 2010 is 90 percentile and sectional cut offs are 80 percentile for Quantitative Ability, 85 percentile for Logic & Data Interpretation and 85 percentile for Verbal Ability.
The total weightage given to the CAT 2010 scores and previous academic records is 50. The maximum weightage for the work experience profile is 2.5.
The Stage II of the selection process includes GD PI and Written Ability Test. The weightage of Written Ability Test are 10, Group Discussion 10, Work Experience/Education 5 and Personal Interview 25.
Prof. Rai mentions that the minimum requirement for passing the Personal Interview is 7.5 out of 25.
