MBAUniverse.com and Hindu Business Line tie up for B school Ranking 2016

The Hindu BusinessLine, business newspaper published by the 125 year old much respected -The Hindu newspaper, and MBAUniverse.com have come together to conduct and publish jointly The Hindu Business Line - MBAUniverse.com B-school Ranking 2016. The rankings, created under the supervision of an eminent advisory committee, will offer a credible yardstick for MBA aspirants to decide which business school to apply to. Last date to participate in the ranking is October 10, 2015.

Since 2010, MBAUniverse.com annually releases its B-school Rankings,widely recognized as Indias most credible & toughest Ranking. Given that all top B-schools including IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Calcutta, IIM Bangalore, XLRI participate in this ranking, making it very competitive and the toughest to secure a top high rank. Recognizing its credibility, The Hindu group has joined hands with MBAUniverse.com to create the Gold Standard for B-school Ranking in form of The Hindu Business Line - MBAUniverse.com B-school Ranking. Dr Shekhar Chaudhuri, Former Director, IIM Calcutta & Former Professor, IIM Ahmedabad has consented to be the Chairman of B-school Ranking 2016 Advisory Committee. Other distinguished members of Advisory Committee are Dr TV Rao Former Professor, IIMA &Member of the IIMA Society and Board ofGovernors & Chairman, TVRLS and Mr S Sivakumar, Group Head - Agri & IT Businesses, ITC.
Talking about the Rankings, Dr Shekhar Chaudhuri said, Hindu Business Line and MBA Universe.com have teamed up to prepare their B-School Ranking 2016 with the objective of guiding prospective MBA students in selecting the most appropriate institution to study in. The Advisory Committee comprising Dr. T.V.Rao, a renowned academic in the area of OB and HRD and a former professor at IIM Ahmedabad, Mr. S. Sivakumar, Group Head, ITC and myself as the Chairman of the Committee has helped to fine tune the survey approach & design.

The Ranking will be released in November 2015 at a glittering function in Bangalore and will be published in The Hindu, Hindu Business Line newspapers & MBAUniverse.com, thus reaching to over 1.75 lakh MBA/PGDM aspirants.

To do a holistic analysis of a B-school, a 360 degree evaluation approach using INPUT PROCESS OUTCOME framework will be used. Dr R K Shukla, Former Director, NCAER-Center Macro Consumer Research & MD, ICE360, a non-profit research centre will conduct data analysis for this ranking. A team of researchers shall verify all data in the questionnaire with AICTE/UGC Disclosures. Where required, field visits will be made to campuses for verification.

Questionnaires have been sent to 200 B-schools for participation. B-schools can also download the softcopy of questionnaire from http://www.mbauniverse.com/bschoolrankings2016/. Last date to participate is October 10, 2015.
