To download the NMAT 2026 admit card: log in to the NMAT by GMAC candidate dashboard at mba.com/exams/nmat, verify your registration and payment status, click the "Admit Card" button on the dashboard, and save the PDF. For Test Centre mode, print a hard copy; for Online Proctored at Home mode, a digital copy is acceptable.

NMAT 2026 admit card is released immediately after successful fee payment and exam slot booking on the NMAT by GMAC candidate dashboard at mba.com/exams/nmat. Unlike other exams, there is no fixed common release date. Each candidate receives their admit card based on their individual self-scheduled exam window.

NMAT 2026 does not award a fixed number of marks per question. Unlike CAT or XAT, NMAT uses an adaptive scaled scoring system where the total score ranges from 36 to 360, with each section scored on a scale of 12 to 120. Since NMAT is a Computer Adaptive Test, the score reflects the difficulty level of questions answered correctly. A candidate who answers harder questions scores higher than one answering the same number of easier questions. There is no simple "marks per question" formula in NMAT.

Applying for NMAT 2026 is completed entirely online on the official NMAT website mba.com/nmat. Start by creating an account and verifying your email. Then log in to your dashboard, fill in your personal details, academic qualifications, and work experience, and upload your photograph. Select up to 5 MBA programmes to receive your scores. Next, click the "Book Exam Slot" button to schedule your preferred exam date, time, and mode. You can select either at an authorised test centre or online proctored at home. Finally, complete payment of Rs 3,000 (expected, taxes extra) to confirm your registration. Your admit card will be available for download from the dashboard after successful payment.

CAT Reading Comprehension (16 questions, all MCQ with -1 negative marking) and Verbal Ability (8 questions, mix of MCQ and TITA) are both part of the VARC section but test different skills. RC tests reading comprehension, inference, and critical reasoning across 4 passages of 400–600 words each. VA tests logical sequencing and language structure through Para Jumbles, Para Summary, Para Completion, and Odd One Out. RC carries twice the weightage of VA and requires strict accuracy; VA's TITA questions reward attempting even uncertain answers.
