The Karnataka PGCET 2026 exam is scheduled across 29 major districts including Bangalore, Mysore, and Mangalore. Key cities include Belgaum, Bellary, Hubli (Dharwad), and Gulbarga. Candidates must choose their preferred test city from this alphabetical list while completing the online application form to ensure accessibility on exam day.

Essential documents include SSLC and PUC marks cards, study certificates, and qualifying degree marks cards. If claiming reservation, a Caste or Income Certificate issued by the Tahsildar is required. Wards of defense personnel must also provide a home-town declaration certificate from the Department of Sainik Welfare.

Eligibility requires seven years of study in Karnataka or a qualifying degree from the state. Candidates must have studied in Karnataka-recognized institutes for seven academic years starting from 1st standard. Alternatively, those who passed their qualifying degree in Karnataka may qualify if a parent studied in the state for seven years.
