The multidisciplinary curriculum of BITSoM MBA program addresses the needs of an evolving business landscape and offer students an immersive, engaging, and holistic experience. MICA Ahmedabad Scholarships, leading to partial or full fee waiver are offered to the students. MICA Scholarships are Merit Based and Need Based which are offered to students in 1st and 2nd year of the MBA courses to support them to pursue the management program with reduced financial burden. MICA Scholarships are awarded annually based on the student's overall academic performance and family income. The scholarships are awarded to the students who are currently pursuing studies at MICA. The process of evaluating and awarding the scholarships is rigorous.
MICA offers Prof. Bikram Bindra "Equity Scholarship" and other merit and Merit cum Means scholarships. The students from PGP-1 will be eligible to apply. The Criterion for Scholarship selection is based on the Family Income not exceeding Rs. 10 lakhs per annum. Student’s academic performance should be minimum CGPA of 3.00 and class attendance record of minimum 80% in the first year for PGP-2 scholarship. Winning state/national/international level competitions will also add to eligibility.
The maximum number of scholarships to be awarded will be 25 to 27 (to PGP-1, PGP-2, and CCC), including the sponsored from Prof. Bikram Bindra for 1-2 student(s), where Prof. Bindra will provide Rs. 5 Lakhs to the student(s). The scholarship to be awarded for PGP-2 students will be up to 12. MICA will provide the scholarship up to 100% of the tuition fees per student in the programme. The number of scholarships to be awarded for PGP-1 will be up to 11 to 13. For CCC, the scholarsdhip will be awarded up to 2 students. MICA will provide up to 50% of the tuition fees per student in the programme.
Master of Business Administration (MBA)
K J Somaiya offers 2 years full time MBA programme. GD PI process will be conducted across different cities across India. It will consist of Group discussion and a personal in-depth interview.

For the profile-based admission process, the aspirant needs to appear for any one of the qualifying entrance exams (i.e. either CAT / XAT/GMAT/ NMAT/CMAT). For MBA-Sports Management qualifying scores of CAT/ XAT/GMAT/ NMAT/CMAT /ATMA/MAT/PERA CET/CUET will be accepted.

The two-year, full-time MBA programme at K J Somaiya Institute of Management allows students the unique opportunity to pursue both a major and a minor. From the second year onwards, Students are required to opt for one of the majors and one of the minor specializations. The major specialization needs to be opted for before the 4th trimester, while the minor specialization needs to be opted for before the 5th trimester.

Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM)
MDI Murshidabad offers a prestigious two-year full-time AICTE approved MBA-equivalent Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM). MDI Murshidabad flagship Post Graduate Diploma in Management (PGDM) programme, approved by the All-India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, is also accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and recognized as MBA equivalent by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).
Shortlisting of candidates for the selection process will be done on the basis of the details provided in the application form and their CAT 2025/ XAT 2026/ Valid GMAT. MDI Murshidabad PGDM curriculum has been designed to enrich student’s skills and abilities in order to enable them in applying management theories and concepts in live problems existing in business and industry. The programme enables students to identify and diagnose complex problems in management through hands on learning experiences. It includes lectures, case studies, seminars, assignments, live projects, group discussions, business games, outbound based experiential learning activities, educational excursions, role plays, simulation exercises, structured and unstructured group work, and field visits. Consistent with state-of-art technology, the programme integrates the use of computers (IT) in the learning process. The students undertake several field based projects (live projects) so that they can get better insights into real life situation. These all will inevitably assist students to achieve high standards of excellence.
MDI Murshidabad PGDM Programme Structure
Core Courses
The PGDM course curriculum is spread across six terms with the bulk covered in the first three terms. These core courses will enhance the ability to communicate, analyse situations and make decisions by adopting quantitative and qualitative techniques. It even helps them to develop a holistic view of the different functional areas and the business environment. During this period, it is mandatory to opt for courses in general management and major functional areas, such as Accounting and Finance, Marketing, Operations Management, Information Management and Business Analytics, Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management and Strategic Management and International Business. They get exposure to the basic disciplines of Economics, Behavioural Sciences, Managerial Communication, Business Law, Quantitative Methods and Decision Sciences.
Summer Internship
At the end of the first three terms, students are required to undertake an industry internship or summer training to work on a project / life problem an organization. The internship usually spans over a period of eight weeks. This is a compulsory component of the curriculum for the completion of the academic requirements. It is designed to provide exposure to organizational work setting, develop an understanding of business realities, learn how to apply theory in real life business situations and find its relevance.
Dissertation
The dissertation will be allocated 1.5 credits in Term-IV under the Internship/Fieldwork category. Students will be required to submit their completed dissertation reports by the conclusion of Term-V.
This research-intensive project allows students to engage deeply with their chosen topic, bridging academic learning with practical, real-world application. It fosters essential skills such as critical thinking, problem-solving, and academic writing, and preparing students for future professional endeavours.
Specializations
In the second year, the student opts for elective/ optional courses to specialize in a maximum of two functional areas.
These areas of specialization may deal with any of the following:
- Accounting and Finance
- Organizational Behaviour and Human Resource Management
- Marketing
- Operations Management
- Information Management and Business Analytics
- Strategic Management and International Business
All elective Courses, however, may not be offered, as this would be determined by the number of students showing interest in aforementioned area of specializations. Details about the electives are made available to students when they join MDIM. To specialize in an area, a student must opt for a minimum of five elective courses offered in that area that assigns a weightage of 15 credits and three each for a course. Students will be allowed to opt in a range of 14 to 17 electives. However, CGPA would be decided based on the best 14 electives out of total electives where students have scored relatively better.
MDI Murshidabad aims to offer new electives in line with latest demands of the students and corporate like Econometrics and many more expected to appear in the forthcoming academic session that will meet corporate requirements.

MBA Human Resource Management (MBA-HR)
MBA Human Resource program at IIM Amritsar is a 2 year full time management programme. MBA HR programme is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their HR managerial knowledge and skills. IIM Amritsar MBA HR program imparts foundational functional knowledge of management in its first year and offers HR specialization courses in the first and second year.
Application process for admission at IIM Amritsar opens with the start of CAT registration process. Candidates have to apply for CAT by the last date. There is no need to apply and pay separately for IIM Amritsar Admission at this stage
Admission/Selection Process for Candidates for MBA HR program at IIM Amritsar is through CAT Exam and PI round. The selection of the candidates for admission to the MBA Business Analytics at IIM Amritsar is a three-step process- Pre shortlisting, Shortlisting, and participation in PI round
In the first step, candidates are screened as per the IIM Amritsar admission policy on performance in CAT exam and in the second step they are considered on various parameters for shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI) from among the candidates who have a valid CAT score, who have applied to the programme and who satisfy the eligibility criteria for the programme. MBA HR programme is aimed at developing professionals who will be able to manage all functions and levels of businesses using their HR managerial knowledge and skills. The First Year of the program offers a 2-week compulsory preparatory program for students to enhance their readiness for the MBA HR program; an Orientation program to familiarize students to the IIM way of learning and acquaints them with the infrastructure, services, and student activities at IIM Amritsar. The first year courses are compulsory and provide basic conceptual knowledge and analytical tools in different functional areas of management. All students undergo eight to ten weeks of summer internship after first year of the program. Fellow Programme in Management
IIM Raipur does not charge any tuition fee, hostel fee, library fee, computer fee from FPM students pursuing the programme. Instead, IIM Raipur full time Research Scholars are provided financial assistance to all academic and other expenses.
Scholarship to the tune of Rs.35,000 is offered to FPM students in the 1st and 2nd year and Rs.40,000 in 3rd and 4th year of programme.

The fellow programme at IIM Raipur has been categorized into the following three phases: Phase I (Fundamentals of Management), Phase II (Specialization) and Phase III (Doctoral Dissertation). Research scholars will spend generally a little over four years that includes two years of rigorous course work.
The Course work in the first year provides a general management overview and develops basic skills for analysing managerial problems. In the second year, research scholars will take advanced doctoral level courses in the area of specialization; followed by the doctoral dissertation, for the next couple of years. The Two-Year Full-Time Post Graduate Diploma in Management (E-Business) programme consists of six trimesters. The PGP extends over a period of two years, involving six trimesters with a summer internship at a prestigious organization. The programme is carefully designed keeping in view the changing needs of the global business scenario.
During the first year, students are exposed to basic concepts in the areas of Marketing, Finance, Quantitative Methods, Operations, Behavioural Sciences and Strategy through the core courses. These lay the foundations for all the functional areas of management and help the students develop an intricate understanding about the different facets involved.
In the second year, students choose from a range of electives to concentrate on functional areas of their interest. The areas offered at present are Finance, Operations, Marketing, Human Resources, Strategy and General Management.
A lot of emphasis during the PGP has been laid on industry based and research projects. The students, over the period of years are expected to conduct research on various aspects of management and subject it to the scrutiny and evaluation of the faculty. This is aimed at increasing the levels of comprehension the students possess in the respective topics.
Register and apply for CAT exam by paying the requisite application fee for the exam. On the page 4 of CAT application form, you need to select IIM Raipur PGP and other programs and select the interview city. Your application for IIM Raipur admission is submitted. You do not need to apply and pay separately for IIM Raipur Admission. After declaration of CAT exam result, you can check at IIM Raipur as well as IIM CAP website whether you are shortlisted by entering your CAT registration ID and password.
- IIM Raipur 2 years full time PGP (MBA) Eligibility criteria require that the candidate must hold a bachelor's degree of minimum 3 years duration after class 12, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- The candidate should appear in CAT exam and must score minimum prescribed sectional and overall score to be considered for shortlisting.
- Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree/equivalent qualification examination and those who have completed the degree requirements and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply for Admission.
