CMAT exam pattern consists of 100 questions divided into five equal sections. Each section (Language Comprehension, Quant & DI, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship) has 20 questions for 80 marks, totaling 400 marks for the entire three-hour computer-based test.

Documents required for CMAT 2027 registration include a valid Government Photo ID (Aadhaar/PAN/Passport/Voter ID), Class X mark sheet for Date of Birth verification, educational qualification details, scanned passport-size photograph (10-200 KB), scanned signature (10-50 KB), a valid email ID, active mobile number, and credit/debit card or net banking for fee payment.

For CMAT 2027 registration, the photograph must be in JPG/JPEG format, between 10 KB and 200 KB, with 80% face visible (without mask) including ears against a white background. The signature must be on white paper in blue/black ink, scanned in JPG/JPEG format between 10 KB and 50 KB.

CMAT 2027 application fees are expected to be ₹2,500 for General (UR) Male candidates and ₹1,250 for General Female, EWS/SC/ST/OBC-NCL/PwD/PwBD Male and Female candidates, and Third Gender candidates. Fees are payable online through Credit Card, Debit Card, Net Banking or UPI on cmat.nta.nic.in. Applicable service charges and GST are extra.

CMAT 2027 registration last date is expected to be in mid to late November 2026 (tentative). For reference, CMAT 2026 registration closed on 17 November 2025 as per the original NTA schedule.
