CAT 2024 exam date is November 24, 2025

No, you cannot, you need minimum 50% marks in graduation to appear in CAT 2024 if you are a general category candidate.

CAT 2024 question paper is divided in three sections – Verbal Ability & Reading Comprehension (VARC); Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning (DILR); Quantitative Ability (QA)

CAT 2024 is a computer based test and will be conducted at test centres.

CAT 2024 Admit card will be released on November 5, 2024 at official CAT website iimcat.ac.in. You need to download the CAT admit card with your CAT login ID & Password

CAT Exam 2024 is expected to have total 66 questions. The sectional division of questions is expected 24 in VARC; 20 in DILR and 22 in Quant section.

CAT marking scheme is +3 marks for each correct answer and -1 mark for each wrong answer for MCQ type questions. For Non MCQs, there are no negative marks in CAT marking scheme

You need to make pre-preparation and collect required documents. Besides, as there are 21 IIMs and each IIM is offering more than one program, you should prepare a list of preferred programs and interview cities where you wish to attend your PI/WAT. This will help you complete the process fast.
